I am a recent convert to the wonderful taste of salted caramel. At first sight I thought it sounded a bit odd as a concept but one taste changed my mind. And these salted caramels are probably the best I've tasted.

I bought these as a present and when they were delivered they had been damaged (the postman threw the "fragile" box through an open window into my house. Not Hans Sloane's fault at all) and I was a bit gutted. However, a 2 minute phone call to Hans Sloane later and I had some replacement caramels on their way to me along with an apology. I could not have asked for more.

I was lucky enough, on a personal level, to be able to pinch a couple of the caramels after I had given them as a present. The outer shell is a very well produced truffle and then inside you just get a pool of tastiness.

Buy them. You won't be disappointed
